ERT Awarded an IRS TIPSS-4 Small Business Award in the CyberSecurity Task Area

On June 23, 2011, ERT was notified of its award of an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Internal Revenue Service under their Total Information Processing Support Services-4 (TIPSS-4) Program in the Cybersecurity area. TIPSS-4 Information Technology Services (ITS) is a multiple award contract with a period of performance of one base year and nine one-year option periods. ERT’s portion of the contract has an $870M ceiling.
The TIPPS-4 ITS principal task area provides contractor support for design, development, deployment, operations and maintenance of the IRS’ legacy IT systems. ERT was awarded its contract in the Cybersecurity area, which includes computer security awareness and training, incident response, and planning; crypto systems; digital signatures; disaster recovery, continuity of operations, and contingency planning, IV&V; mainframe automated information security support; public key infrastructure (PKI); quantitative risk analysis of large sensitive systems; security certification and accreditation; security for small systems, telecommunications, and client service; systems vulnerability analysis/assessment and risk assessment; and training (knowledge transfer).

“We are pleased to have been selected for this contract,” said Dr. Jingli Yang, ERT’s President. “It gives us the opportunity to extend our cybersecurity capabilities and assist the IRS in providing this critical support function.” spacer
